Cannonball Guitar Tablature
		Cannonball - Damien Rice
		Tabbed by: Chris Spurgeon

This is a *** good song. And not too tricky. I got a couple of tabs for this but neither were especially good so
I thought I’d have a go at tabbing it myself.
Sorry if you find the tab rubbish, it is my first time so don’t think too badly of me, and I havn’t been playing
for long either.

! Capo 6th (or 5th) Fret ! (depending on how high your singer can go, 6th is better in my opinion.)

2nd Guitar/Chords + Vocals - 1st Verse

G C D Dsus
Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth
G C D Dsus
Still a little bit of you laced with my doubt
G C D C
Still a little hard to say what's going on

G C D Dsus
Still a little bit of your ghost your witness
G C D Dsus
Still a little bit of your face I haven't kissed
G C D
You step a little closer each day that i can't say
       C
what's going on

1st+2nd Guitar/Chords + Vocals - Chorus

G C D Dsus
Stones taught me to fly
G C D Dsus
Love taught me to lie
G C D Dsus
Life taught me to die
                C
So it's not hard to fall
When you float like a cannonball

2nd Guitar/Chords + Vocals - 2nd Verse

G C D Dsus
Still a little bit of your song in my ear
G C D Dsus
Still a little bit of your words I long to hear
G C D C
You step a little closer to me, so close that I can't see what's going on

1st+2nd Guitar/Chords + Vocals - 2nd Chorus

G C D Dsus
Stones taught me to fly
G C D Dsus
Love taught me to lie
G C D Dsus
Life taught me to die
                C
So it's not hard to fall
When you float like a cannon

G C D Dsus
Stones taught me to fly
G C D Dsus
Love taught me to lie
G C D Dsus
Life taught me to die
                C
So it's not hard to fall
And I don't WANNA scare her
            C
It's not hard to fall
And I don't wanna lose
            C
It's not hard to grow
When you know that you just don't know

It then goes back to the verse tune and chords, and once you’ve repeated it a couple of times the second guitar
stops doing chords and plucks these notes steadily:

	e---------------------------------|
	b------3--------------------------|
	g------------0------2------0------|
	d---------------------------------|
	a---------------------------------|
	e---------------------------------|

Then the first guitar joins in with these notes, probably when they get bored of doing the main riff ; )

OK there it is, well pretty much anyway. Please rate for a first time tabber. And any praise or verbal abuse feel
free to send it to:

	Enjoy. (Hopefully)

		Chris.
